Qwen is Alibaba's AI platform with web search and web extraction capabilities for retrieving current information from online sources. Alibaba Cloud documents both real-time web search and tools that can access and extract content from specific web pages. In the official documentation reviewed by ELNIQ GEO, we did not find a dedicated Qwen crawler identity or User-Agent that publishers can use to identify this traffic in server logs or manage it specifically through robots.txt.
How Qwen accesses the web
Alibaba Cloud documents web search capabilities for Qwen that retrieve current information from online sources and can return sources used in generated answers. It also provides a Web Extractor that accesses a URL and extracts its content for use by the model.
These capabilities confirm that Qwen can work with live web content. However, in the official Alibaba documentation reviewed by ELNIQ GEO, we did not find a dedicated Qwen crawler name, User-Agent, published IP range, or bot verification method comparable to those documented by some other AI operators.
