In the official documentation reviewed by ELNIQ GEO, we did not find a dedicated publisher-facing crawler identity or User-Agent for identifying this web access in server logs or managing it specifically through robots.txt.
How Grok accesses the web
xAI documents Web Search as a server-side tool that enables Grok to search the internet in real time, browse web pages, and extract relevant information to answer queries with up-to-date content. Search results can also provide source URLs used by Grok.
Grok has a separate X Search tool for searching posts, users, and threads on X.
