What it does
When an advertiser submits a landing page as a ChatGPT ad, OAI-AdsBot visits that page to check it complies with OpenAI's advertising policies and to help determine when the ad should be shown to users. It only visits pages submitted as ads, on demand — not a continuous or broad crawl.
It does not affect whether your content appears in ChatGPT Search or AI-generated answers, and the pages it reads are not used to train OpenAI's models.
